One of the features of the 849 series is its hexagonal shape. Pens are easy to hold in the fingers and are comfortable to write with for long periods.

Like most Caran d’Ache “Swiss Made” ballpoint pens, all the 849s in the Popline collection are fitted with the famous Goliath giant cartridge with a writing capacity of up to 600 A4 pages. Its steel tip contains a turning ball in tungsten carbide, which ensures a sharp, blot-free line.
