Stillman & Birn Delta series sketchbook pages have an extra heavy-weight, ivory cold-press surface, suitable for all dry media and ink. Internal and surface sizing allows the pages to accept light washes as well as watercolor and other wet media. A flexible, rugged cover with soft-bound sewn bindings and rounded edges protects the pages and prevents fraying. The archival quality, high performance paper is pH neutral, lignin-free and chloride-free.

Bound in the United States, this sketchbook system offers artists a choice of three paper surfaces:
Medium Grain - distinctive tooth, suitable for all dry media, and will also accept multiple washes
Cold Press - Substantial tooth, enhanced wet and tear strength, suitable for mixed media artwork
Smooth - Suitable for pen & ink, colored pencils, water-based markers as well as watercolors
