Join us as we welcome Malaysian poet, writer and educator Shivani Sivagurunathan at Lit Books@CzipLee BV2, to discuss her latest poetry collection, Long Distance. The poems in Long Distance explores a range of intimate moments across love's spectrum-- from the quietly romantic to the cosmically mysterious.
Tickets are RM10, and attendees will receive a voucher redeemable on the event day.

Shivani Sivagurunathan has been writing and publishing fiction and poetry for over 20 years. Her short story collection, Wildlife on Coal Island was published by UPM Press in 2011 and republished by HarperCollins India in 2012. Her first novel, Yalpanam, was published in 2021 by Penguin SEA. In 2022, her first poetry collection, Being Born was published by Maya Press and her novella collection, What Has Happened to Harry Pillai?, was released by Clarity Press. She is currently working on her literary fiction novel. Shivani also teaches creative writing and literature at the School of Humanities, University of Nottingham Malaysia, and has a passion for running creative writing workshops.
