KOKUYO Campus ProtecXin Mechanical Pencil 0.5mm

This mechanical pencil features 0.5 mm lead for amazingly thin, clean lines. Its metal grip gives the pencil a low center of gravity for a stable, comfortable writing experience even with minimal writing pressure. The grip features special block-shaped knurling that provides excellent slip resistance without the painful points of traditional diamond knurling.

Despite being so fine, the lead doesn't break as you write, due to the PROTECXIN mechanism. The guide pipe protects the entire length of the lead, and you write without extending the lead out of the guide pipe, which glides right along the surface of the paper. Since it has rounded edges, the guide pipe doesn't catch on the paper or scratch it. Semi-automatic shrinking of the nib, the nib will shrink as the refill is consumed until the next pressing.
