Take part in a guided journaling experience that brings together personal reflection, poetry and creative journaling. Guided by Nico Ng (@nicong.co) and @pim_k.l.In, in collaboration with Pilot Pen Malaysia.
Participants will create one finished journal spread inspired by a poetic prompt and a colour they connect with.
The workshop is designed to be beginner-friendly, with simple prompts and a guided layout that makes it easy for participants to turn their thoughts into something meaningful and visually beautiful.
What You'll Learn:
Reflect & Write
Start with a poetic prompt and simple guide questions to ease you into the writing exercise.
Plan the Spread
Based on Nico's "Journal Your Day" format, Nico will guide you in combining your writing, lettering, swatches and small details into one spread, with room to make it your own.
Ink, Swatch & Create
Using your Pilot pen and ink; colour your sticker, fill in the swatches, write your entry, and finish with small details.
Workshop Outcome
By the end of the session, each participant will leave with one completed journal spread, combining personal writing, a poetic prompt, lettering and paintable ink swatching stickers. Everything is created with Pilot inks, pens and other journaling materials during the workshop.
Language
The workshop will be conducted in English.
What to Bring
Your own journal or notebook. Feel free to bring extra tools like glue, scissors, stickers, washi tape or pens. Shared materials will be provided.
