Both Shera and Safiyya lived between Asia, The Middle East and now Europe. As mother and daughter they found the importance and challenges of balancing multicultural values. This book was borne out of their love for reading together at home after school and bedtime, the shared feelings and experience of growing up in different continents.

About the Authors

Shera, born in Malaysia, has lived abroad most of her life, she now resides in the tranquil English countryside. Whilst a multi-talented entrepreneur driven by a desire to share her passion for creativity and gastronomy, this book is another project she shares inspiration with her daughter Safiyya.

Safiyya growing up in three different continents with its challenges, She found interest and inspiration in the rich history of Asian women. Through diversity and sharing of stories of these inspiring women she would like young girls to realise and recognise the potential of their feminine power they have within regardless of race or religion.
