The Uni Kuru Toga Mechanical Pencil has a sliding lead sleeve that is able to protect the lead when you write. You can write continuously without manually clicking to extend the lead. The sleeve slides into the pencil when the lead gets shorter along with the lead as you write. It will not be bent or poke a hole in your pencil case or pocket, as the sleeve can also be fully retracted. It has an ingenious lead rotation mechanism to prevent the lead from forming a slanted tip like conventional mechanical pencils.
